How to Paint a Watercolor Landscape Fast!
Maybe you’re doing some art journaling or maybe you’re just playing around with watercolors for fun, but you’re short on time. Maybe you only have five minutes, in fact!
Well, guess what? You can make a lovely little watercolor landscape painting fast—five minutes fast!
In this video I walk you (quickly) through the secrets to making a landscape in just a few minutes, including the one thing you must do if you want to paint watercolors fast. I love watercolors because they dry quickly, go on easily, and create lovely finished works.
All you need to get started is some watercolor paper, a couple of paint colors (blue and yellow will do it!), a paint brush, preferably a round one, and some water. Oh, and you’ll need time and space, too, but you (really!) only need five minutes for this fast watercolor landscape, promise!
You Can Learn to Paint Anything!
Did you enjoy that? Well guess what? I have a bunch of art journal and painting tutorials and am always adding more to my page. I create with watercolors and other mixed media, and I do it not only because I love it, but because it soothes my soul and anxiety. In fact, I believe creativity, even if it’s just a fast watercolor landscape, can add presence, mindfulness, and calm to your life.
If this sounds like your kind of thing, you might also enjoy the 14 Day Art + Soul Journaling Challenge, where you’ll get prompts, some meditations, more tutorials, and an excuse to make creative play a part of your every day.
