Hi, I’m Jen!

Hi, I’m Jen — an artist, nature-lover, deep feeler, and quiet believer in everyday magic.
I’ve been making art for as long as I can remember. I create not just because I love it, but because it helps me find peace. Painting slows me down, brings me into the present moment, and reconnects me with what really matters — and I hope that same energy flows through my work and into your hands, your home, your heart.
I actually gave art up for a while — during my twenties and early thirties, I barely touched a brush. But after my daughter was born, something stirred awake in me. Since then, I’ve returned to creativity with a kind of devotion. My style has shifted over the years, but one thing has stayed the same: I paint to uplift. To reflect the beauty of nature. To make room for stillness.
I now live just outside Asheville, North Carolina (I moved here way back in 2004, before it was cool!) with my husband, our daughter, and our very (VERY) mouthy black cat, Jett. I paint from the sunroom off my kitchen, usually surrounded by light, leaves, and a growing number of paint-splattered coffee mugs.
When I’m not painting, I’m often outside — walking, wandering, or just listening. I believe nature has a way of reminding us what’s real. I also love to read, write, and explore the kind of slow, intentional life that allows for breath and wonder.
You can find me over on YouTube sharing meditative painting videos and thoughts about creativity, self-trust, and letting go of control. I’ve also recently opened my Patreon, a more intimate space where I share exclusive painting sessions, gentle meditations, and soulful conversations.
I sell both original watercolor and mixed media paintings and fine art prints through this site, with the hope that they bring a sense of calm and quiet beauty to your space.
Thanks so much for being here. You can always reach out to me by emailing jen@jenpicicci.com — I’d love to connect.
