Create beautiful abstract landscape paintings you’ll be proud of, in just one afternoon.
Abstract painting seemed so foreign (and beautiful!) to me. I loved the way watercolor abstracts looked when I saw them on Instagram, yet I wasn’t sure how they were make or how anyone knew where to start.
Have you felt that way, too? Perhaps you’ve tried to recreate something you’ve seen on Pinterest, only to end up with a puddle of muddy colors or a piece that looks like it came out of an elementary school art class?
Or maybe you feel really stumped on what supplies you need, worrying about spending even more money or something you won’t know what to do with or that will go to waste in your art supply drawer (I know you have one!)
Or, worst of all, maybe you think you don’t have any creativity inside of you. You feel drawn toward making things with your hands, but doubt you have the gift of creation.

Hi, I’m Jen!
I help people unleash their creative souls and give them permission to explore, play, and make stuff.
I’m a professional artist now and I LOVE what I do, but it wasn’t always this way. Although I grew up with a pencil practically attached to my hand, by the time I’d graduated from college I’d mostly making art go. Sure, I worked at a newspaper for a while doing graphic design, but since when is making an ad for a car dealer lighting anyone’s soul on fire?
Time went on and I did the things: Office job, another office job, got married, moved, had another extremely boring office job, got another degree, moved again, had a baby. Suddenly, something had to give. I knew my life was missing that certain something. Though it took about a year and a half after quitting my office job and giving birth to my daughter, one day I finally knew, down to my very bones, that I had to get back to creating.
It’s been a wild and wonderful journey, and even if you’re not intent on becoming a professional artist, I know how important having something relaxing, fun, and rewarding to look forward to. Creativity gave me my life back. That’s why I created this course.

Who is this class for?
The Former Creative
You did all the artistic things back in high school or college, but life has most certainly gotten in the way of that. You miss that creative space, and with all that’s going on in your life (and in the world), you know you have to get back to it to give yourself some perspective and sanity.
The Beginner
You’ve been playing around with watercolors a little bit, but you feel a little limited or stuck. You want to feel free to play and explore, but sometimes feel like you don’t know what you’re doing.
The Wild Spirit
You love to play and explore and go with the flow. You’ve never played with abstracts before, though, and want a little guidance before you let go and get wild.
